Ladies takes an intimate look at the lives of five women in their sixties who are fighting a discreet daily battle against loneliness. When you are older, it's easy to feel invisible in a youth-oriented society, but these five women never lose their inner spirit. And love? They still believe in it, of course. It's never too late to dream.
Der Film überlässt fünf sehr unterschiedlichen Persönlichkeiten die Bühne, lässt sie erzählen, begleitet sie zum Tanzen, zur Quartettprobe und auf die Wildschweinjagd. Da ist viel Humor und Drive drin. Umso eindrücklicher, wie der Konflikt zwischen dem Wunsch nach Unabhängigkeit und der Sehnsucht nach einer Partnerschaft in fünf verschiedenen Variationen zum Ausdruck kommt.
