Autumn 1943: Berlin is being bombed and young Rosa Sauer flees to rural East Prussia while her husband is serving as a soldier on the Eastern Front. However, Hitler's headquarters, the Wolf's Lair, is located near the village. Suddenly, Rosa and other women are recruited by the SS. They are forced to serve as food tasters for Hitler's meals. The situation escalates when the Stauffenberg assassination attempt on Hitler fails in the summer of 1944.
